Happy New Year!

The first SMTC of the new year will be next WEDNESDAY February 1st at Villa Paul in Hampton Bays at 6:30.

We are happy to host Marine Science Teacher Greg Metzger of Southampton H.S. and Stony Brook University as our guest speaker.  Greg is a member of Long Island Shark Collaboration.  The presentation will be about the discovery of our local White shark nursery and the shark tagging program.
Bring the kids to this event!
Sharking and tagging is something everyone in the club has the ability to do.
It is our goal to get the kids out fishing this year.

We are looking forward incorporating the Bluefin tournament into our summer club activities.  This will be open to all members and the BOD will be developing calcuttas that will be in reach of everyone.  We will be discussing this at future meetings and look forward to your input.  It is our goal to get the Junior Anglers more involved this year.
